Kevork Artinian’s unique talent of singing was first discovered at his hometown Church. Since the age of 8, Kevork became an active member of the choir where his astounding voice began to mature. Kevork's first concert was at the age of 12, and was accompanied by his friend Sako Bedrossian on the keyboard. They both performed for several years at a variety of cultural and community events. At the age of 15 Kevork won the Armenian School Board’s prize for "Best Talent" which was organized by the Armenian Prelacy. Just a year later, he won the "Miraculous Voice Award." Kevork’s musical gift was flourishing with the help of his music instructor Mr Robert Kurdian until he moved to Montreal, Canada at the age of 17. In Montreal, Kevork established "Nor Serount," a well-known band with his friends. Together they performed at numerous events throughout Canada and the United States.
In 2005 he joined forces with Joe-Joe Tebrejian, "The Maestro." The two started working together with the same goal of taking their music to the next level. With Kevork’s mesmerizing voice and Joe-Joe’s incredible musical talent, they have become a force unlike any collaboration of the same genre. In 2013, Kevork met his beautiful wife, Talene, and moved to the United States. They have two beautiful children, Aren and Alek. Over the years, Kevork has become an International star and has performed in France, Lebanon, Germany, Venezuela, Syria, and in the Caribbean onboard The Armenian Heritage Cruise. Kevork has successfully combined the traditional Armenian "Kef" music with contemporary instrumentation and created an unparalleled fusion style. Kevork’s humble character and charming voice touches the hearts of those who hear him sing. His tone naturally engraves his name in the hearts of his fans and changes the way they interpret Armenian music forever.
